Coach with us

We're hiring boxing trainers. And if you've never trained anyone, we'll train you.

Now hiring: trainers

Do you have a boxing background? Amateur, Golden Gloves, a pro corner, fitness boxing. Come join the floor. Every session at Westchester Boxing Club is one hour, one on one, so the work is real coaching: teaching stance, jab and footwork, building a plan around the person in front of you.

Bring your experience, bring patience, and expect to be held to the standard of the room. Call or text us, tell us your background and what hours you can give.

Learn the corner

No experience needed for this track. Westchester Boxing Club trains its own trainers, under Nick Delury. You learn on the floor, the old school way, from people who came up in real boxing rooms.

The standards are high on purpose. The program is intense, and Nick says 9 out of 10 trainers don't make it through. Every trainer here is qualified and certified by Nick. If you want it, we'll show you how.

Finishing the program is not a guarantee of a job at the club. Talk with us about where it can lead.

Who you'd train under

Nick "Nicky Knuckles" Delury has owned the club since 1996, with decades as a boxing coach, amateur boxer and professional sparring partner. He is a USA Boxing official, licensed as a professional boxing trainer, cornerman and cutman in many states.

Nick and his trainers came up under Maurice "Kid Sharkey" Sposato, who trained Larry Holmes, Jose Torres and more. That line is what you'd be joining.
